ASSA Annual Business Meeting in February 2010 We will conduct our annual business meeting on Saturday, February 20 on the 3rd Floor of the Wynfrey Hotel in the Buckingham room immediately following the last lecture of the UAB Refresher Course. Please join us or make certain at least one member from your group participates. We value your ideas and need your input

American Society of Anesthesiologists
Two of the American Society of Anesthesiologists upcoming educational workshops
are the Conference on Practice Management January 29-31, 2010 and the Certificate
in Business Administration beginning March 20-21, 2010. Both of these programs
are designed to help physicians and practice managers develop their business skills
to manage their practices and work with hospital administrators.
We are trying a new approach to reach more members by asking the State Component
Societies to distribute the two workshop brochures at any networking opportunity
within the next two months. If you would like to receive COPM and CBA brochures
please respond to this email and we will mail copies to the appropriate person.
